Giuliani needs to join the Libertarian Party!

I read a FoxNews story entitled Giuliani to GOP: ‘Get the Heck Out of People’s Bedrooms’. This obviously grabbed my attention because I am a fiscal and social conservative who believes that marriage is between one man and one woman. I believe this because marriage was not created by government, it was created by God and God told us to become one with our wife, to be fruitful and multiply. I think it only makes sense to side with the creator of the universe on this one, right? 
Well as I read the article, a few of Giuliani’s quotes stood out to me, such as:
I think that marriage should be between a man and a woman, but I think that the Republican Party would be well-advised to get the heck out of people’s bedrooms and let these things get decided by states,
I find it interesting that though Giuliani claims to be for traditional marriage, he doesn’t want the Republican Party to take a stance? Hmm, how interesting that Rudy thinks the Republican Party should stay out of the marriage issue, but encourages the state governments to be invovled. Shouldn’t it be the other way around, keep government out and have the parties fight for their platforms, which for Republicans their platform has been for traditional marriage!
So Mr. Giuliani, should we be the only party who doesn’t take a side when it comes to marriage, because I am pretty sure the Democrats and Libertarians have taken a stance. Coincidentally the Libertarian Party stands with you on the issue of marriage, so maybe you should change you party affiliation from Republican to Libertarian!
